| Q: Do these
exercises work? A: These exercises have been proven to work, provided you do them regularly. Keep track of when you do them. Preferably the same time each day. Q: How long will it take before I notice any results? A: Some will notice results immediately from either the visualization or breathing exercises. There is no exact set guaranty for quickness of results but they do work. Doing these regularly is the key. You could continue to do these as long as you like. A program like this is always helpful whether it's for a long term or short. Q:How often should I do the exercises? A:Starting out I would recommend doing each of the visualization exercises once a day and possibly more often for the breathing exercises. Q: Are there any side effects? A: No, there shouldn't be any side effects from doing these exercises. If you feel light headed from the breathing exercises proceed at a slower rate. It's recommended that you check with your doctor if you have any questions. Q:: My house is noisy will I still get help from the exercises? A: Using headphones does wonders for blocking out most local sounds. Q: Is it better to do these in the morning, day or evening. A: That's totally a matter of preference. Many prefer the morning because you might be more refreshed and it's a great way to start your day. Q: It's difficult to have any privacy in our populated house, any suggestions? A: If you have a supportive family they will understand and give you the privacy you need if you ask. If that's not an option then possibly ask a friend or neighbor if you can use their computer for about half an hour each day to accommodate you. Q: Should I do the exercises only when I am feeling anxious ? A: No. It's good to do the exercises when you are feeling stressed or having a good day. It "is" better to do them when you are feeling good so you will be able to concentrate more attentively and be in a better mind set. Q:Should I stop taking my medication for anxiety or depression? A: No. Continue with what your doctor has prescribe but, for any changes, consult your doctor. Q: Do you recommend taking any additional prescriptions, medications or natural medicines while viewing the videos? A: Again, consult your doctor. Q: I have arthritis and can't lye down comfortably for the exercises, what can I do? A: Although you will get best results from lying down enabling you to relax more easily, you can sit in a chair with or without armrests. Q: I like drinking coffee and other caffeine related foods, should I quit? A: If you can't at least cut down then I would recommend decaffeinated coffee. Q: Should I stop going to the hospital emergency since it's always anxiety and not an actual heart attack I'm having? A: I can't make that judgment. Q: I am a senior, are there any age restrictions for this? A: No there isn't. Just about anyone can benefit from doing these. |
